I am so nervous but so honoured! First of all I am nervous be cause I have to read my war poem! I am honoured to because a veteran , a real veteran from world war 2 is coming to speak at our assembly! I can't believe it. I hope this assembly really gives our school, especially the younger kids a reality check about what remembrance day is really about. The younger kids think it's about wearing poppies and seeing older people on the news.BUt really it's about honouring the soldiers and the sorrow for their families. I hope everything goes well

Aine, you and everyone else are so cute when you worry! It means that you care, and that goes far with me.
You will all be fine!! In practice so far I have seen nothing wrong. I just like upping the ante because I know this class can do it.
